Plan for Spring 2021 Little League season!

Plan for Spring 2021 Little League season:

  • Outdoor activities are allowed and encouraged even with Sonoma County's current stay at home order.  As a sport with minimal direct person to person contact, baseball can be a great way for children to interact safely with their peers, stretch their legs and have some fun!

  • It is one of the few team-based youth sports allowed to fully operate during California’s “Red Tier” categorization of virus prevalence.

  • This Fall, we were able to run a pilot series of Juniors level practices with Covid-19 mitigation practices in place with great success.

  • Please see the following link for more information:

Given these facts we are planning for one of the following scenarios:

Scenario 1) We will be able to offer a full season, including practices and games.

We will be able to offer this if Sonoma county is in the Red Tier or better.

Covid mitigation strategies will almost certainly be in place and will likely include:

  • Face coverings

  • Physical distancing in and around SLL facilities

  • Minimal sharing of equipment

  • Temperature checks

  • Screening for covid symptoms

  • Enhanced hand hygiene

  • Disinfecting of equipment that is shared.

Scenario 2) Games are not allowed, but we can offer practices and other non-competitive activities

This most likely will be the case if Sonoma county remains in the Purple Tier.

The above Covid mitigation strategies will be in place.

If this scenario plays out, our refund plan will be to offer a 25% credit toward Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 registration fees.

Scenario 3) We are not allowed to conduct any baseball activities

We think this scenario is unlikely, given that we can practice with our current Stay Home order in place. But if this scenario plays out, our refund plan will be to offer 100% credit toward Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 registration fees.

**** SLL has always taken refund requests on an individual basis and will continue to do so going forward****

These may be pro-rated depending on timing and expenses incurred.
