2026 Coach/Volunteer Requirements – Sebastopol Little League
Dear SLL Volunteers,
First and foremost, thank you for volunteering your time and energy with Sebastopol Little League! Your dedication not only helps keep our kids safe—it’s truly what keeps our league running strong year after year. We couldn’t do this without you!
✅ 2026 Coach/Volunteer Requirements
In accordance with Little League® regulations, every coach and volunteer must complete the following before the season begins. All documents must be submitted to the SLL Safety Officer at [email protected].
1. Background Check
You will receive an email from JD Palatine with instructions to complete your background screening.
✅ No action needed until you receive the email.
Must be completed annually.
This is a free, online course (~20–30 minutes).
Certificate of completion must be emailed to the Safety Officer.
3. Concussion Training (Including Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness) concussion training.pdf
Offered for free online via the CDC (~20–30 minutes).
Certificate must be submitted upon completion.
Required for all Managers and Coaches.
Free online course via Little League (~20–30 minutes).
Submit your certificate to the Safety Officer.
5. Live Scan Fingerprinting ***** This is only done once in a lifetime. Once completed, you will never need to repeat it for Sebastopol Little League. *****

Must be completed at an AMERIPRINTS location: Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, or Petaluma. Form available below.
Cost: $30 (Reimbursable by SLL — see below).

Requesting Reimbursement?
Include a photo of your receipt in your email.
Your request will be forwarded to the SLL Treasurer for processing.

Please send proof of completion for items #2–#5 to:
Include your full name and role (e.g., coach, assistant, team parent).
🚨 Important Reminders:
These requirements are mandatory for the 2026 season.
You will not be allowed to participate in practices or games until all items are complete and on file.
