Our spring 2024 season is now getting started and we still need your help! Umpiring is necessary for all Majors, AAA, and AA division games to be played. We need adults and youths to please consider signing up. Each team will need to have 2 or 3 parents prepared to umpire various games scheduled throughout the season. There will be in-person field clinics and Zoom meetings in the next month to train and prepare you. It will be required to attend at least one scheduled field clinic. Clinic dates, times, and RSVP links can be found on the District 35 website.

Youth umpires have the ability to earn up to $40 per game! Players involved in umpiring tend to know more about the game and compete at a higher level. Majors and 50/70 division players are eligible to umpire AAA and AA level games. Older players 14+ are eligible to umpire Majors, AAA, and AA games. Former players under the age of 18, including high school athletes, are paid and encouraged to sign up. Adult volunteers earn the satisfaction of being involved in the development of our younger community members. We really need adults to step up this season and help out with this VERY IMPORTANT role!
